Crypto Exchange Coinbase Adds Support for Ethereum (ETH)-Based Altcoin as Markets Pause

An interoperability protocol focused on ease of use has just joined the trading list of the leading US-based crypto exchange.

In a new post, Coinbase says that the Celer Network (CELR) is now available across its entire platform, including iOS and Android apps.

Celer Network’s scaling platform was built on top of Ethereum (ETH) and is designed to allow secure off-chain transactions.

The project aims to be a “multi-blockchain operating system” that offers a one-click user experience for a variety of niches, including decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFT), gaming, as well as the development of blockchains. decentralized. applications (DApps).

Its native utility token CELR can be used for staking to facilitate the network’s consensus mechanism, as well as to pay network fees.

Last month, Coinbase added Celer Network to its roadmap, which consists of projects being considered for the line of supported crypto asset exchanges. Coinbase says that the roadmap is how the crypto exchange communicates with market participants before deciding to list an asset in an effort to increase transparency.

Celer Network has seen some dramatic price action in recent weeks, initially rising more than 81% from a July 26 low of $0.016 to a high of $0.029 on August 12.

Since then, CELR has mirrored the recent broad market correction, in the red by 9.41% over the last 24 hours and trading at $0.022 at the time of writing.
