Emmerdale Young Amelia Flanagan has her fingers crossed for her sister Isabella at this year’s Inside Soap Awards.

Surprisingly, both are nominated in the Best Young Artist category, with Amelia’s work as April Windsor and Isabella’s turn as Hope Stape in Coronation Street bag them nods.

To add to the pride of the family, his brother William also appears from time to time in run as Joseph Brown, the son of Chesney and Gemma.

speaking to inner soapAmelia was asked if Isabella and William’s foray into the world of television was inspired by her.

“Yes!” She answered. “I was doing it for a couple of years before Bella and Will got involved. It’s surreal that all three of us ended up on soap operas!

“I’m up against Bella for an award for the first time, and as much as I’d love to win, I really hope my sister gets it!”

The 14-year-old also shared, “When there is an award ceremony, I will be on Team Emmerdale and they will be the team run – but it is never competitive.

“I’ve run lines with Bella where she played Hope and I pretended to be a character from Coronation Streetand she’s done the same to me, so it’s fun!”

However, before potentially lifting that prestigious trophy, Amelia and her little sister will have to outvote fellow nominees Jude Riordan, Sonny Kendall, Lillia Turner, Gabrielle Dowling, Charlie Behan and Jayden Fox.
