As you may know, Bethesda’s mega-popular RPG series Fall is headed to a tv series. This is the most important again because new set photos of Amazon’s upcoming post-nuclear adaptation leaked sometime in the last 24 hours. Live-action video game adaptations are getting pretty good these days, so it shouldn’t be too surprising to see the settings look very, very authentic to actual Bethesda games.

Originally inspired by the GURPS tabletop role-playing game, by Interplay Fall it was released on PC in 1997, with a sequel the following year. A couple of spin-off games dotted the 2000s before a canceled 1998 sequel. fallout 2 would pave the way for Bethesda, of all companies, to pick up the franchise and build Fallout 3 in 2008 for PC and consoles. After a critically acclaimed spin-off, a regular direct sequel, and a rare attempt at a live service game created under abusive working conditions, Amazon announced in 2020 that a live-action adaptation would be coming to the company’s streaming service. Not much has been said about the show since then.

Although the original leak post on the fallout 4 subreddit has had its images removed by mods, apparent images from the TV production have since appeared on Twitter, showing outfits that look ripped straight from Fallout 3 either 4.

While a lot is still unknown about this show, the set footage, if it’s real, does provide a bit of insight. It looks like a “Vault 32” will play some sort of role, and the boy’s room in one of the images looks a lot like the opening scenes of Fallout 3. Another shows a country house directly out of a vault.

These are not the first leaks to emerge from the upcoming TV show. A little less than a month ago pc gamer reported leaks supposedly showing display accessories for the series’ classic power armor suits. In July of this year, eurogamer saw a “Super Duper Mart” which was not, as you might have assumed, the natural habitat of Staten Island. Although you could have cheated on me.

Not everything we’ve learned about the show has come from leaks. In July, the official Xbox News Twitter account stated that filming for the show was underway. A few weeks ago, actor Walton Goggins also shared a post on his Instagram outside his trailer where a single character’s name, “Ghoul”, was recorded. It is unclear whether or not Goggins is in costume in this image.

if you have played Fallout New Vegas, then you know the stage is set for funny storytelling, so in theory there could be a funny show in store for us. Alternatively, the show could just be about liberating another settlement that needs your help or the endless search for your stupid dad or something.
